Fill Order Matters: Always fill the machine's solution tank 3/4 full with water first, then add your chemical concentrate, and top it off with water. Adding the chemical first may cause the detergent to foam up aggressively inside the clean water tank.
- Pads and Brushes: Pair this alkaline solution with a blue or green scrubbing pad (for medium soil) or a red pad (for daily gloss tile maintenance). Avoid aggressive black stripping pads unless you are removing floor finish.
- The "Double-Scrub" Method for Heavy Dirt: For deeply stained tiles or dirty grout lines, do not turn the vacuum suction on during the first pass. Put down the solution, scrub the floor with the brushes, let it dwell for 2–3 minutes so the detergent can emulsify the grease, and then make a second pass with the vacuum squeegee turned on to suck up the slurry.
Machine Maintenance Warning
Flush the machine after every use. Professional cleaning chemicals (contain high pH chelating agents) If left inside the solution tank, lines, or solenoid valves of the machine overnight can dry out and form hard silicate crystals. These crystals could clog the solution release holes, filters, and valves. Always drain the solution tank atthe end of the shift and run 5 Litres of clean, warm water through the systemto flush it out.
If you are NOT using a low foam detergent Use a Defoamer in the Recovery Tank: If your product generates foam when agitated by the scrubbing brushes and sucked into the vacuum system - You must add a commercial silicone-based defoamer directly into the dirty water recovery tank before starting. If foam enters the vacuum motor, it will short-circuit and destroy it.
