Cleaning Countertops

  • Method: Spray bottle or damp cloth.
  • Dilution: Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Pine Gel into 500ml of warm water and pour it into a spray bottle. Alternatively, place a tiny dab (fingernail size) directly onto a damp microfibre cloth.
  • Application: Spray the surface or wipe it down directly with the cloth to remove grease, fingerprints, and sticky spills.
  • Crucial Step: Food Safety Wipe. Because countertops are used for food preparation, you must wipe the counter again using a clean, damp cloth soaked in fresh water. Never leave raw Pine Gel or surfactant residue on surfaces that touch food.

Cleaning Floors (Tiles, Novilon, and Sealed Wood)

  • Method: Mop and bucket.
  • Dilution: Mix 1 large tablespoon of Pine Gel into a standard bucket (approx. 10 litres) of hot water. Agitate the water until the gel dissolves completely and creates a light foam.
  • Application: Dip your mop, wring out excess water, and mop the floors as usual. The AOS will lift dirt while the Pine Oil leaves a fresh scent.
  • Crucial Step: For households with pets or toddlers crawling on the floor, follow up with a clean water rinse. Mop the floor a second time using only plain water to remove any chemical film

Cleaning Pet Bedding

  • Method: Machine wash or hand soak.
  • Dilution: Dissolve 1 to 2 tablespoons of Pine Gel in a bucket of warm water (approx. 5–10 litres) before adding it to your washing machine or soak tub.
  • Application: Submerge the fabric bedding and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes to neutralise odours and lift dirt. Wash on a normal cycle.
  • Crucial Step: Rinse twice. Ensure all residual soap and pine fragrance are completely rinsed out. Residual pine oil and formalin can irritate a pet's sensitive skin or paws.
  • Drying: Allow the bedding to dry completely in a well-ventilated area (preferably in direct sunlight) before letting your pet use it
