Benefits of aloe vera in dogs shampoo
Shampooing your dog is never one of the most enjoyable things that you do in your day, so you want this time to be worth something. Dogs seem to pick up dirt everywhere, and if its not washed out of their hair, it gets down into their skin. That is why a good bath, with a good dog shampoo is a must for dog owners.
Habitat K-9 shampoos are infused with Aloe Vera because of the softening and healing properties that are inherent this plant. Aloe Vera grows wild in the southern US states, tropical climates and RSA, and it is used in many human products, like hand and facial lotion, and lip balm. Aloe Vera works wonderfully for a light burn, or bug bite on the skin, so your pets rough skin will stay healed. It also softens the coat on your pet, and is extremely beneficial in our shampoo. There are not many pet shampoos companies that care enough to make an outstanding shampoo for your four footed family members, but we think it is important to keep them happy too.
Topical Benefits: It's been known to help skin conditions like hot spots, bites, stings, or itchy, dry skin. Shampoos made with organic oils such as coconut oil can improve damaged skin and reduce allergens.

There is evidence, but not every one agrees as to its efficacy or suitability, that a 1/4 cup of white vinegar mixed with a cup of K-9 shampoo kills fleas on dogs, we have tried it, it worked for us and our dogs are still healthy. If you try this be sure pay special attention around the neck and ears, leave to work for a few minutes, comb off dead fleas then finish with a good rinse with clean water. Then wash your dog with k-9 for a thoroughly clean dog.
